Well, here goes my first BB cream review! Marcelle's Beauty Balm states to be a 8 in 1 skin enhancer with the following multi-benefits :
-Evens out skin tone
-Offers immediate and long-term hydrating benefits
-Protects from premature aging and environmental stresses
-Promotes skin regeneration
-Matifies skin and controls shine
-Soothes and calms skins
-Minimizes the appearance of imperfections and pores
-Excellent make-up base provides anti-dull radiant complexion

Now, this seems to be an excellent product if it has all these benefits as well as powerful antioxidants, such as aloe and chamomile, while being hypo-allergenic. Sarcasm aside, this beauty balm really does what it claims, well for me anyway.
I should start off by stating that I do have fairly good skin, it's not oily, acne prone, or sensitive. But, I would say that my skin can be dry/dehydrated at times, however, mainly normal and combination during summer months.
When applying this BB cream to be safe I didn't start off with my normal moisturiser, just in case it would come off as looking greasy instead of dewy. All I did was apply a eye cream (I have to due to a dry eye area if not moisturised) which was Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil, very sparingly.
This BB cream is not very thick which I really enjoy, I tend to like a very thin consistency when it comes to BB creams.
I found that I really enjoy using my fingers to apply this product, which gives a sheer coverage compared to my Sephora Mineral Powder Brush. It blends in like a dream, with little effort, and for my skin I only need the smallest amount. My skin doesn't look or feel oily throughout the day, it has a somewhat matte finish, but semi dewy. Also, it really did provide good coverage for my skin, while keeping it feeling hydrated throughout the time wearing it.
One more thing I have to mention is that the product has a pump! Which we all know is a game changer, and a must with liquid products. I have to say I really do love this Beauty Balm, and it would definitely be a repurchase.
I like ur blog :-)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a really good product, the pump is definitely a deal breaker xx
