Marcelle's BB Cream

Well, here goes my first BB cream review! Marcelle's Beauty Balm states to be a 8 in 1 skin enhancer with the following multi-benefits :

-Evens out skin tone
-Offers immediate and long-term hydrating benefits
-Protects from premature aging and environmental stresses
-Promotes skin regeneration
-Matifies skin and controls shine
-Soothes and calms skins
-Minimizes the appearance of imperfections and pores
-Excellent make-up base provides anti-dull radiant complexion

Now, this seems to be an excellent product if it has all these benefits as well as powerful antioxidants, such as aloe and chamomile, while being hypo-allergenic. Sarcasm aside, this beauty balm really does what it claims, well for me anyway.

I should start off by stating that I do have fairly good skin, it's not oily, acne prone, or sensitive. But, I would say that my skin can be dry/dehydrated at times, however, mainly normal and combination during summer months.

When applying this BB cream to be safe I didn't start off with my normal moisturiser, just in case it would come off as looking greasy instead of dewy. All I did was apply a eye cream (I have to due to a dry eye area if not moisturised) which was Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil, very sparingly.

This BB cream is not very thick which I really enjoy, I tend to like a very thin consistency when it comes to BB creams.

I found that I really enjoy using my fingers to apply this product, which gives a sheer coverage compared to my Sephora Mineral Powder Brush. It blends in like a dream, with little effort, and for my skin I only need the smallest amount. My skin doesn't look or feel oily throughout the day, it has a somewhat matte finish, but semi dewy. Also, it really did provide good coverage for my skin, while keeping it feeling hydrated throughout the time wearing it.

One more thing I have to mention is that the product has a pump! Which we all know is a game changer, and a must with liquid products. I have to say I really do love this Beauty Balm, and it would definitely be a repurchase.

Chanel's Soleil Tan De Chanel

This has to be one of the best make-up products that I have ever purchased, ever. Being said, this is definitely a luxury beauty product, it is Chanel, and it is $48.00. Before getting turned off by the price tag, let me tell you why this product will change your life (well make-up routine anyway).

As you can see in the photo, this bronzer is a beautiful golden tan, which doesn't look orange on skin whatsoever. Being a cream product it blends seamlessly and effortlessly into the skin. When I use this product with a brush, I tend to use a contour or mineral powder brush (any brush that is dense), and then blend/buff into the skin. I've also realized how simple it is to use with your fingers, apply directly where you want to bronzer and blend with hands.

This product is my first cream bronzer, and I have to say I am rarely reaching for my powder bronzer's at all. I find this product leaves the most natural effect on the skin, it really looks like your skin, not a bronzer. I also find myself wearing less of a base on my face, if any at all when using this product.

I feel as though this is an extremely versatile shade, it can work with fair skin tones to deep skin tones. Overall, I really cannot say enough good things about the Tan De Chanel, there isn't a person that I wouldn't recommend it to.

Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Polish

I have heard so many things about the Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Polishes on the YouTube and Blogging community for ages now. However, I have always been a lipstick kind of girl, I rarely if ever even glanced at lip glosses. After watching two of my favourite YouTube Beauty Gurus rave about these Lip Polishes, I decided it was time to swatch them at Sephora.

The shades I have are Creamsicle, and White Russian. Creamsicle is a beautiful bright coral, peachy pink. Where White Russian is a soft baby pink nude colour. Both shades are absolutely gorgeous, and can be worn daily.

I was more than surprised to see the crazy pigmentation these Lip Polishes had, with one coat you had more than enough colour pay off. Another factor I love about the product is that it's not a sticky formula whatsoever, it really doesn't feel like your average gloss on your lips - And coming from a non lip gloss girl that means a lot.

I have to say that Buxom has brought me over to the lip gloss side with their Lip Polishes, it really is an excellent product. I definitely want try more shades from their large variety of colours. The Lip Polishes are $23.00 each, which may seem somewhat steep, but let me tell you it's really worth it.

Caudalie Divine Oil

With my absolute love and obsession of oils, I of course had to try the much raved about Caudalie Divine Oil.  I purchased it at Sephora with a price tag of $49.00 - might I add is quite steep to most. However, if you are an oil fanatic such as myself you will absolutely love this product.

Lets start by mentioning what this Divine Oil contains:
-Grape Oil: Rejuvenates and nourishes.
-Extra Virgin Argan Oil: Restores hydrolipidic film.
-Sesame Oil: Softens and moisturizes.
-Patented Antioxidant Grape Seed Polyphenols

Being said the ingredients in this oil are really fantastic, while leaving the oil with a subtle floral scent of rose, grapefruit, cedar, vanilla, as well as white musk.

Now you might be wondering how does one use an oil such as this? Well, it is quite the multi-tasker. I use this oil on my face, body, and even hair. Having dry and dehydrated skin this oil feels amazing on my face, especially around my eye and mouth area. I also love spraying the product directly on my legs as soon as I'm out of the shower (while being still damp). Once it absorbs into the skin it feels truly amazing and hydrating. When it comes to your hair it has to be used sparingly, being that it is pure oil. I tend to spray a small amount into the palms of my hands and only apply to the ends of my hair. This is the only oil thus far that actually leaves my hair feeling and looking healthy when used right.

I truly consider this product a must have for me right now, I use it for so many things and it does wonders for each task that it's faced with.
